When my leave was almost cancelled ...

Now this happened  just before Diwali -2009, when I was facing unnecessary but remarkable hurdles (remarkable because the "HO Public" was bussier eating Sapad) and I was so impressed by this remarkableness that it brought the best out of me (best as in frustration) through the following words -

Following is an outcome of the events that took place in the last 2-3 days.....

Everything was going right..... All was set to see the home sparkling in diwali light...... and finally the eyes gleamed nice and bright....

We partied, we drank, we sang, we danced.... forgetting the epidemic sorrow, our enjoyment was thorough. Alas we were going home....

And the happiness was in full bloom....Gifts we bought were shirts, shoes and perfume.

We bought, we spent, and we were careless.... But who bothered, our home was a mile less.

Everything was going right.... until a bomb called napalm fell from someone’s ass,
And the tale ended, with a spat on the face worst then a barbaric lash.

And the happiness that was in full bloom.....Ended in a spending spree, destined for doom.

Too many credit card bills compiled, and chances of going seem so less.... There’s sale on all the purchased gifts for 5 % and less.........
